Duncan Castles has revealed that Manchester United are the favourites to sign FC Porto defender Eder Militao who’s a wanted man amongst the major European clubs.
The journalist made this revelation on the Transfer Window Podcast via the Daily Star.
According to him, the transfer will either take place in the current January transfer window or in the summer.
Brazilian international star Eder Militao has been attracting the interest of the creme de la creme of European football with his impressive outings for Portuguese Super League champions FC Porto this season.
He has had a phenomenal first season for FC Porto having joined the Portuguese team from Brazilian Serie A club Sao Paulo last summer.
The player has impressed for FC Porto in both the Champions League and the Portuguese Super League.
Eder Militao is a utility player that can play in at least three positions.
The 21-year-old can play as a right-back, as a defensive midfielder and as a centre back.
Major European clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for him.
He became a full Brazilian international earlier in the season when Selecao manager Tite gave him his debut in the thumping win over El Salvador.
