English Premier League outfit Liverpool have made a submitted a surprise offer of about £70 million for the signature of Portuguese outfit SL Benfica youngster Joao Felix.
The Merseyside are keen on the signature of the star player and have been able to submit an offer in order to land him before this winter transfer window runs to an end.
Joao Felix is Benfica’s most prized asset as he has improved this season and has risen to become the biggest name in the Portuguese side which is the reason why he has attracted a number of interests from around Europe.
However, a reported according to Portuguese tabloid daily newspaper Correio de Manha claims that Benfica have already rejected the offer from the English League leaders as they are not willing to part ways with the player.
It is reported that the Reds only have the chances of convincing the Portuguese outfit if they are willing to pay the whopping sum of £120 million which is clearly spelt out in Joao Felix’s contract as a release clause.
Joao Felix is an attacking midfielder but has got the ability to play a number of roles which will surely be a good addition for the English League outfit.
