Rangers are reported to have joined the list of those interested in the signature of English Premier League outfit Liverpool player Adam Lallana as they hope to snap him up in this winter transfer window.

Adam Lallana has been linked with a move away from the Anfield over the past few weeks owing to the lack of playing time under manager Jurgen Klopp.

While a decision has not been made concerning his future by the Reds, Adam Lallana is reported to be keen on leaving the Merseyside club as early as this winter window.

However, Rangers are keen to land a creative midfielder having suffered the lack of depth in their middle in the first half of the season and the England international has been identified as the best for the club.

Managed by Reds legend, Steven Gerrard, Rangers are hopeful that a deal can be influenced by the relationship between both clubs owing to their manager.

The likes of Turkish outfit Fenerbahce and English Premier League side Wolves have been leading in the race for Adam Lallana but from indications, they could be beaten by Rangers who have got a good relationship with Liverpool in the past.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old has got a contract with the Reds until 2020 with a release clause of £20 million.
