Premier League giants Arsenal will reportedly pay a €2m loan fee for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez after they reached an agreement with the Catalans over his transfer.
Spanish international star Denis Suarez has emerged as the Gunners’ top target in the January transfer window with Arsenal manager Unai Emery keen to reunite with his former player.
Denis Suarez played under the Spaniard while he was the Sevilla manager and the 25-year-old excelled a great deal under him.
He is a utility player that can play as a central midfielder and on the wings especially the left wing.
The loan fee was revealed by Spanish media outlet RAC1.
It was further disclosed that the Gunners will have to pay €20m at the end of the short-term loan contract this summer.
Denis Suarez is keen to leave Barcelona this month in search of more playing time.
The Spaniard has been a bit-part player for Barcelona under manager Ernesto Valverde this season.
He could be a direct replacement for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey who’s almost certain to join Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
Ramsey has already agreed to a free transfer move to Juventus after undergoing his medical and an official announcement is expected next month.
