Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata will be on his way to Spain to join La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid in coming days, before the end of this winter transfer window.

This is after Sky Sports report that the West London side are already in advanced talks and that a deal could fall in place that will ensure his move.

The former Real Madrid player has fallen out of favour in the manager Maurizio Sarri team as a result of the lack of which makes him linked away from the club.

Earlier reports claimed that Alvaro Morata’s agent stormed London to hold discussions with the West London side in a bid to sort out the departure of the Spanish striker.

Sevilla were reported to be keen on the striker as they hope to take advantage of the situation at the Stamford Bridge but they might not succeed with Atletico Madrid looking to be winning the race.

However, Chelsea are reported to be ready to let him leave for a fee of about £45 million so as to bring in a new replacement for him to the Stamford Bridge.

Alvaro Morata is expected to link up with Diego Costa who just left the Stamford Bridge this last summer window.
