Arsenal manager Unai Emery has offered midfielder Mesut Ozil to two clubs in his quest to offload him to free up funds for potential signings.
This is according to the report from Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb via the Daily Express.
It was revealed that Mesut Ozil has been offered to two clubs in the Italian Serie A.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner has been offered to both Juventus and Inter Milan.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to get his huge salary off the wage bill at the club to free up some funds to sign Gunners-linked players like Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco and Denis Suarez.
Mesut Ozil currently earns £350,000 on a weekly basis at Arsenal thus making him the highest earner in the history of the club.
The former Real Madrid and Werder Bremen playmaker signed that contract in February 2018.
Mesut Ozil has not been able to adapt to the new style of play introduced by Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
He has been dropped from the Arsenal squad on several occasions this season with the latest coming at the weekend.
Ozil was left out of the Arsenal team for the West Ham United game at the Olympic Stadium despite his return to full training last week.
