Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has provided an update on the transfer status of one of his players.
Senegalese international defender Kalidou Koulibaly is a key member of the Napoli team under former Juventus and Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Koulibaly has been heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester United and Ancelotti is certain that a move won’t happen.
In his recent interview, Carlo Ancelotti dismissed those transfer rumours which claimed that Kalidou Koulibaly is looking to leave Italy following the racism incident that he suffered at the hands of Inter Milan fans last year.
The 27-year-old was racially abused by a section of the Inter Milan fans during the Italian Serie A clash between the Nerazzurri and Napoli on Boxing Day.
Koulibaly was sent off for two yellow cards in the last ten minutes of the league encounter after he sarcastically clapped the fans and his dismissal was crucial as Napoli were beaten 1-0 by a late goal.
Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have also emerged as a genuine contender for his signature alongside three-time European champions Manchester United.
It was revealed that the Red Devils had two bids rejected for Koulibaly at the end of last year including a £92m bid.
