French World Cup winner Paul Pogba has been heavily linked with a move back to Italian Serie A champions Juventus especially when Jose Mourinho was the Manchester United manager.
Pogba returned to Manchester United in 2016 for a then world-record fee of £89m after a successful four-year spell at Juventus whom he joined on a free transfer.
Mourinho and Pogba had a frosty relationship which affected the team a great deal.
In the end, the Portuguese tactician was sacked following the Red Devils’ disastrous start to the season.
Jose Mourinho was sacked in December and was swiftly replaced by former Red Devils striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United have been better for it with the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has won all his six games in charge of the team including five Premier League matches.
Solskjaer would be in charge of the team until the end of the season.
