Manchester United are interested in a move for highly rated Belgian attacker Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco.
The Red Devils’ interest was confirmed by an unlikely after the player’s wife, Noemie Happart, spoke about the future of his partner while she was on Belgian TV channel rbtf.be.
According to her, several clubs want to sign Carrasco.
She further revealed that three-time European champions Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in a move for the former Atletico Madrid star.
Noemie Happart has been very vocal about the desire of his husband to return to Europe.
Yannick Carrasco has been on the payroll of Chinese Super League outfit Yifang Dalian for the last one year following his transfer from Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
The Belgian international attacker has also been linked with Arsenal in this January transfer window with reports claiming that a transfer fee of around £26m would be enough to secure his signature.
The Gunners are in search of a forward with England international Danny Welbeck ruled out of action for the rest of the season.
Any Arsenal transfer for Carrasco has to be a loan deal after club manager Unai Emery admitted that the Gunners won’t be able to sign players permanently in the transfer window.
