Liverpool target and Red Bull Salzburg striker Munas Dabbur is reportedly close to sealing a move to the Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia.

This development remains a big blow to the Merseyside team as they are set to miss out on the striker who has scored a total of 20 goals across all competitions this season.

The Israel international has been in hot form for his Red Bull Salzburg side this season which ensures he catches the attention of top sides including the Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Munas Dabbur has so far scored six goals in six games in the Europa League for his side making him the highest goal scorer in the competition; in addition to the nine goals, he has scored in the league in 18 T-Mobile Bundesliga appearances.

The Merseyside are keen on the star player as they are fearful to lose Divock Origi in this winter transfer window so he could serve as a replacement.

However, the latest report hints that Munas Dabbur will be heading to the Spanish La Liga side, according to Estadio Deportivo and they are likely to land him in this winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Origi is yet to leave the Reds while they are still compact with their solid attacking force.
