Italian Serie A giants Juventus have proposed a swap deal in their attempt to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey in this January transfer window rather than wait to secure his signing on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Ramsey and Juventus have hugged the headlines for the last few days following the news that Italians are closing in on the free transfer signing of the Welsh international star.
It was revealed that Aaron Ramsey has already signed a pre-contract agreement over a free transfer move to the Italian giants later this year.
However, Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed that Juventus want to speed up his transfer by completing his signing earlier than expected.
They are ready to sign him in January with six months remaining on his current Arsenal deal instead of waiting on the former Cardiff City to join them on a free transfer in the summer.
It was further disclosed that Juventus are ready to offer Moroccan international centre back Mehdi Benatia to sign Aaron Ramsey this month.
Former Bayern Munich star Benatia has previously been linked with a transfer to Arsenal but the Gunners’ interest seems to have cooled down in the recent weeks.
