Emerging reports hint that Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona might be planning what seems like a dirty deal with English Premier League side Chelsea.
This is after it was claimed that the Catalans are trying to lure the West London side into agreeing to a new swap deal that will have Philippe Coutinho join the Stamford Bridge for Belgium international Eden Hazard to join the Camp Nuo.
Suggestions are that the step will be a betrayal to Real Madrid who are believed to have had an agreement with the Blues for the player.
Recall that the star player had declared his open love for the Los Blancos with the club alleged to have opened talks for him and already preparing for his arrival at the end of the season.
El Gol Digital reported that Barcelona are trying to take advantage of Chelsea’s interest in the Brazilian international Coutinho to hijack the deal for Eden Hazard from Real Madrid.
Philippe Coutinho is reported to be unhappy at the Camp Nuo over his lack of regular playing time and he is keen to find regular football elsewhere while Barcelona are alleged to be willing to let him as they have got French international Ousmane Dembele to serve as a cover.
Philippe Coutinho Won’t Sign For Man United For This Reason
Barcelona forward Philippe Coutinho has been heavily linked with a £100m transfer to Premier League giants Manchester United in this January transfer window but it looks like the deal won’t happen at all.
This is due to the revelation that the player’s family is not keen to move back to England.
The latest development was made known by Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo via Sky Sports.
Philippe Coutinho left England in January 2018 after completing a big money move to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona from Liverpool.
The former Inter Milan playmaker became the third most expensive player in the footballing world with the transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona.
It was revealed that the Catalans paid a whopping £142m to secure his transfer.
Only compatriot Neymar (Paris Saint Germain) and French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe (also of Paris Saint Germain) have been transferred for more money.
Philippe Coutinho has failed to establish himself in the Barcelona XI for one year thereby leading to rumors about his future at the club.
He made his first start in five league games for Barcelona on Sunday in the 3-0 home win over lowly Eibar with Luis Suarez (a brace) and Argentine superstar Lionel Messi getting the goals for the Blaugrana.
Man United Can Only Sign Philippe Coutinho On One Condition
Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League with Manchester United in the past few days after just 12 months in Spain.
Italian media portal Calciomercato has revealed that the Red Devils can only sign the Brazilian international player on one condition.
It was revealed that Manchester United can sign the former Inter Milan playmaker if they offer a sizeable transfer fee for him with Barcelona eyeing a possible return to the Nou Camp for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward Neymar.
Brazilian superstar Neymar left Barcelona for PSG at the start of last season in a world-record deal worth £200m and has been linked with a move back to the Catalan giants after just 18 months.
He could replace compatriot Philippe Coutinho at the Nou Camp.
Coutinho, 26, signed for Barcelona in January 2018 in a deal that saw him become the third most expensive player in the history of world football behind the PSG duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Liverpool were paid a whopping £142m for Philippe to swap England for Spain.
He has failed to secure a starting spot in the Barcelona team under manager Ernesto Valverde.
Coutinho has started just nine Spanish La Liga games this season, scoring four goals.
Barca ready to help Sarri with Morata?
Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are reported to be ready to hand Alvaro Morata an escape route away from the Stamford Bridge this winter transfer window.
According to the report, the Nuo Camp side are already considering to submit a bid that will have the former Real Madrid striker join them on loan.
It is o longer news that the former Real Madrid forward is being wanted away from the West London club by manager Maurizio Sarri in this winter transfer window.
The Italian boss is alleged to be obsessed with the Spanish forward for failing to deliver goals at the club with insinuations that the Italian boss holds Alvaro Morata responsible for why the club dropped from being title contenders at the beginning of the season to fighting for a fourth place spot.
Alvaro Morata alongside Olivier Giroud have failed to score goals as strikers of the club, leaving the responsibility to wingers and midfielders, a development that is unacceptable to the former Napoli boss.
It was reported that Sarri was willing to have a swap deal with AC Milan so as to secure Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain in retune bur Barcelona seem to be willing to help out.
With Barcelona parting ways with El Haddadi, there is a need to have a replacement and Alvaro Morata could just be the man.
United prepare ‘close to £142m’ offer for playmaker
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly received financial support from his employers so as to get some important players at the ongoing transfer window.
The former Molde manager is now set to spend big on Barcelona playmaker Phillipe Coutinho who joined the Catalans from Liverpool during last year’s winter market.
The Brazilian hasn’t justified his £142m price tag since his switch to Camp Nou and this season has been a very poor one for him.
He has seen himself dropped down the pecking order under Ernesto Valverde, starting just nine games and scoring only four goals in the process.
His uninspiring form has reportedly forced the Catalans into making a move to re-sign Neymar from Paris St-German this month while declaring him ‘surplus to requirements’.
Despite Coutinho’s form, Solskjaer is more than willing to lure him to Old Trafford this month but Barcelona hope to sell him at a huge price.
According to Calciomercato, the Blaugranas are looking to receive nothing below £140m for his signature but it is very much unlikely that the Red Devils would be willing to take such an offer.
Solskjaer is optimistic the La Liga title holders will reduce the Brazilian price tag as the market progresses and he will Intensify his desire to lure him to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer and his players are training hard ahead of their trip to Wembley Stadium where they will battle free-scoring Tottenham on Sunday.

Club Chief Denies Barcelona Exit For Top Man United Target
Barcelona director Guillermo Amor has debunked recent transfer rumours surrounding midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
The club chief was reacting to reports that Manchester United are in talks to sign the player in a deal worth around £100m.
Guillermo Amor told Moviestar that Philippe Coutinho won’t leave the club and that he remains a Barcelona player.
The 26-year-old has failed to settle down properly at the Nou Camp and has been in and out of the Barcelona team under manager Ernesto Valverde in recent weeks.
The uncertainty over his place in the Barcelona XI has contributed immensely to the transfer reports circling around him.
Brazilian international star Philippe Coutinho signed for Barcelona in January 2018 from Premier League leaders Liverpool in a deal worth over £140m.
The transfer makes him the third most expensive player in world football behind young French forward Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint Germain) and compatriot Neymar.
He was recently the best player for the Selecao at last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia but was unable to prevent the five-time world champions from exiting the tournament at the quarterfinals stage via a 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils of Belgium.
He has failed to transmit those Brazil forms into the colours of Barcelona this season in what’s his debut campaign (full) for the Catalan club.
25-Year-Old Midfielder Close To Arsenal Deal After Major Decision
Arsenal have edged closer to the signing of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez after a major development during last night’s Spanish La Liga game with Getafe.
According to the Daily Star, Denis Suarez travelled with the Barcelona squad for the game with Getafe on Sunday night and was scheduled to start on the bench.
The Spanish international player was eventually left out of the 18-man Barcelona team for the game to further fuel rumours of a move to North London giants Arsenal.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Denis Suarez with recent reports claiming that the transfer is a done deal.
Denis Suarez has already talked up his frustration at a lack of playing time at Barcelona this season.
Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has preferred the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Rafinha Alcantara, Ousmane Dembele and Malcom to him this season.
Speaking after he scored a brace against Cultural Leonesa last month, Denis Suarez talked about his desire to be handed more first team opportunities.
Denis Suarez will reunite with Arsenal manager Unai Emery if he signs for the North Londoners.
He played under Unai Emery while the Arsenal boss was the manager of Spanish La Liga giants Sevilla.
Man United Face Barcelona Threat For Top Serie A Defender
Three-time European champions Manchester United will do well to fend off the threat of Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona in their quest to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The threat of Barcelona was revealed by French media portal 221 People via the Daily Express.
It was revealed that the Catalans have offered a whopping £107m for the Senegalese international centre back in the race to sign the in-demand player.
Kalidou Koulibaly has been one of the most consistent defenders in Italian football since he joined Napoli from Belgian champions Genk in 2014.
European heavyweights like Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona all want to sign him to boost their respective teams defensively.
Koulibaly was expected to follow Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to Chelsea last summer just like what Italian midfielder Jorginho but the Champions League campaigners were able to fight off the Blues’ interest.
Manchester United have been severely linked with the 27-year-old in recent weeks with reports claiming that the Red Devils had a £95m rejected for him last month.
The Red Devils have now had two bids rejected for Kalidou Koulibaly with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis determined to get as much money for him since the Italians are not desperate to sell their most prized asset.
Arsenal Close In On Transfer For Suarez
Arsenal are closing in on a move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez in this January transfer window.
This is according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio via his official website.
Denis Suarez, 24, has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in the past few months dating back to when Unai Emery took over as the Arsenal manager in the summer.
The Spanish tactician replaced long serving manager Arsene Wenger last year after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal that runs until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Unai Emery is no stranger to Denis Suarez who played for him while he was the Sevilla manager.
The Spanish international player is keen to leave Barcelona this month after failing to break into the first XI under manager Ernesto Valverde.
The 24-year-old has hardly featured for Barcelona in the league this season with the majority of his playing minutes coming in the cup competitions (Spanish Copa Del Rey and Champions League).
It was revealed that he has agreed to join the Gunners on a short-term loan until the end of this season.
He could be a replacement for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey who has been attracting serious interest from Italian Serie A giants Juventus.
Liverpool in no rush for Barcelona deal
English Premier League leaders Liverpool are willing to wait for the transfer decision of Barcelona star player Denis Suarez as they hope to snap him up in this winter transfer window.
Denis Suarez is known to be an impressive player but he has not done enough to earn a place in the manager Jurgen Klopp’s team and that is just enough to link him away from the club.
However, Liverpool are ready to hand Denis Suarez an escape route as well as hand him more playing time at the Merseyside club for the second half of the season.
The Spanish La Liga side are therefore expected to hold talks with Denis Suarez so as to enable him to make a better decision for his career with reports that his future is expected to be resolved at the weekend.
The Reds are not willing to give up on him and that is the reason why they are not in a rush, but they have gotten a bright signal that a deal could be on the card should anytime soon.
Meanwhile, the Reds team are currently the league leaders and they are hoping to retain the stop much longer until the end of the season so as to be able to secure a title win this season.
Shocking! Arsenal set to complete Suarez’s signature from Barcelona next week
Arsenal could be completing their first signing at the ongoing transfer market any time soon as they are closer to sealing a deal with Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.
Spanish media Diario Gol reported earlier today that the Gunners are in the final phase of discussion with the player’s representative and a deal could be sealed before the end of next week.
Suarez is not in Valverde’s plan for the campaign and he hasn’t featured for the Blaugrana so far this season.
It is believed that Emery is keen to let go of Mesut Ozil, having failed to feature him more prominently since he took over from Wenger.
Manchester United are said to be keeping close tabs on the former Real Madrid playmaker as Solskjaer look to bolster his team at the middle of the park.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in close contact with the Spaniard, hoping to block the Gunners reported bid for his signature.
Chelsea, who completed Christian Pulisic’s signature from Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, are preparing for Cesc Fabregas’ departure, therefore they want Suarez as his replacement.
AC Milan are also credited with an interest for the Barcelona want-away midfielder. The Serie A side have reportedly tabled a loan deal for Suarez’s services but the Catalans might turn down the offer because they want to sell him outrightly.
As at this moment, neither Valverde nor the player’s agent has revealed the player’s decision to leave Camp Nou this winter but we will keep monitoring how event unfold as regards to Denis Suarez’s future.
