Former Arsenal player Paul Marriner has berated the club and manager Unai Emery for letting Aaron Ramsey leave on a free transfer.
Ramsey, 28, is expected to have his medicals this weekend ahead of his free transfer move to Italian Serie A giants Juventus in the summer.
Marriner could not understand why Arsenal and Unai Emery will allow a quality player like Aaron Ramsey to leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of his current contract this summer.
The footballer turned pundit spoke about his former club, Unai Emery and Aaron Ramsey while he was on popular media outlet ESPN.
He went on to say that new signing Matteo Guendouzi is not ready to be a regular in the Arsenal midfielder and that Ramsey should have been given a run in the Arsenal midfield instead of the young French player who joined the Gunners from French second-tier side Lorient at the start of last season.
Paul Marriner questioned why Arsenal will let Aaron Ramsey leave the club for nothing before mentioning Manchester United flop, Alexis Sanchez.
Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez left the Gunners for top four rivals Manchester United in January 2018 in a swap deal involving Armenian international star Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
