Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas completed his move away from English Premier League side Chelsea to French Ligue 1 outfit Lille on Friday.
The former Barcelona man is, therefore, reuniting with his former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry who is now the manager of the French Ligue 1 outfit.
It was an emotional goodbye for the Spanish international in his last game for West London club and with the deal reported to have been sealed, he wrote a message to the fans.
In the message on Twitter, Fabregas expressed mixed reactions as it was obvious he had got an attachment with the Blues fans. He, therefore, thank the Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, the players and the fans for helping him win trophies at the Stamford Bridge.
However, Cesc Fabregas will be up for the challenge as he will now have to settle for the struggling Monaco side who have found it difficult town games this season.
No doubt, Fabregas will now have his wish of having a regular playing time to prove e still has the quality as that was the reason why he left the Stamford Bridge.
He is expected to have a good relationship with the Monaco manager as they are both well known to each other.
