North London giants Arsenal are plotting a free transfer move for FC Porto attacker Yacine Brahimi as manager Unai Emery tries to boost his squad with quality players this year.
According to the publication from popular English media portal Daily Mirror, the Gunners have opened talks with the player.
It was also revealed that the Algerian international forward has been attracting interests from other clubs.
Premier League sides Everton and Manchester United have held talks with him.
Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan are said to have offered him a contract.
Yacine Brahimi has less than six months left on his current deal with Portuguese Super League champions FC Porto.
He can open talks with foreign clubs about the possibility of moving on a free transfer.
Yacine Brahimi has been a big part of the FC Porto team that recorded the most points in the Champions League group stage this season (16 points).
They will face last season’s semifinalists, AS Roma, in the first knockout stage of the competition this term.
He has also helped FC Porto to the top of the league table in the top flight of Portuguese football this season.
His signing on a free transfer would certainly appeal to Arsenal and club manager Unai Emery.
