If reports coming from Spain are to be believed, Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan striker and Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain has agreed on a move to the English Premier League side Chelsea in this January winter transfer window.
The report adds that the deal is expected to be completed within the next few hours while an announcement would be made immediately.
It is not news that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri made the move to secure the signature of the AC Milan striker in a bid to push away Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.
The Italian boss is reported to be fed up with the poor performance of the former Real Madrid striker and is keen to let him leave the club as early as in this winter transfer window.
Therefore, the coming of Gonzalo Higuain signals the exit of Alvaro Morata from the West London club this winter window.
However, Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move to Spanish La Liga side Sevilla which means that the Blues will not hesitate to accept the offer as they are not willing to keep both strikers at the club.
Meanwhile, Sarri has also got French striker Olivier Giroud who is also goal shy but he seems comfortable with his goal assists and support.
