It has been revealed that English Premier League outfit Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to spend a total of £170 million within the next two transfer window so that he can be able to compete for the Champions League as well as the Premier League in the coming season.

The Chelsea billionaire has realized the need to spend so as to compete and be regarded as a big gun and that has woken him up to his responsibility of having to spend big in this winter and coming summer window.

So far, the West London side have been linked with a number of players and reports claim that they could strike some more deals before the end of this winter transfer window.

Recall that the Stamford Bridge side only sealed a deal for Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic some days back and they are linked with more other players as reports claim that they are already closing in on Nicolo Barella who will come in to serve as a replacement for outgoing Cesc Fabregas.

However, the Blues are expected to ensure a Champions League qualification ahead of next season by finishing in the top four of the league if they must realize their dreams.
