Premier League giants Manchester United have held talks with Super Agent Mino Raiola over the signing of AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
This is according to respected Italian journalist Nicolo Schira who revealed that the Red Devils want to sign the Greek international centre-back at the end of the season.
Nicolo Schira made this known on his official Twitter handle as monitored by the Daily Express.
Super Agent Mino Raiola is no stranger to Manchester United having been responsible for the previous Red Devils transfers for the trio of Belgian international attacker Romelu Lukaku, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Armenian international playmaker Mkhitaryan and Swedish football legend Ibrahimovic are no longer at the club after both players left for Arsenal and LA Galaxy respectively in 2018.
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is the top defensive target for Manchester United but a transfer for the Senegalese international star would be a complicated one.
Manchester United have turned to another Italian Serie A defender in Kostas Manolas.
The defender has a £32m release clause in his contract with Italian capital club AS Roma.
Manchester United are keen to improve their defence this year with the acquisition of a new centre back either in the January transfer window or in the summer.
