Arsenal have concluded plans to enter the bidding wars for young Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao.
This is according to the exclusive report from popular media portal TeamTalk.
The Gunners are searching for a long-term replacement for retired Czech Republic international shot stopper Petr Cech and they have identified Brazao as a potential addition to the Arsenal squad.
Gabriel Brazao is on the payroll of Brazilian Serie A club Cruzeiro.
The 18-year-old has been attracting the interests of major European clubs like Inter Milan and AS Roma with the clubs lining up a possible £3m deal for him.
Fellow Premier League club Manchester United are also interested in him.
Gabriel Brazao can follow in the footsteps of compatriots Ederson and Alisson Becker by playing in the Premier League with Arsenal and Manchester United keen on a transfer for the teenager.
Ederson signed for Manchester City from Portuguese side Benfica at the start of last season in a then world record fee for a goalkeeper.
He was a key member of the Citizens’ team that won the Premier League title last season in record-breaking fashion.
Alisson Becker joined Liverpool at this start of this summer and he has been instrumental to the Reds’ ascent to the top of the Premier League table.
