It has been revealed that English Premier League outfit Chelsea will act fast in their bid to secure the signature of Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella, Italian journalist Alfredo Predulla reports.

According to the highly rated journalist, the West London side are willing to offer about £40.2 million ahead to be able to win the competition from other suitors for Nicolo Barella.

The West London side are already aware of the interest from AC Milan, Inter Milan and Napoli for the player which is the reason why they seek to act fast in order to be able to secure his signature.

The Blues are reported to have learnt from their experience with Christian Pulisic as they hope to apply the same method in securing the signature of the star midfielder.

It is no longer news that Blues midfielder Cesc Fabregas is seeking to quit the Stamford Bridge and with reports that he could be on his way to joining French Ligue 1 outfit Monaco, there is a need for the Blues to have a replacement for him.

However, the West London side have got a number of options in their middle with French powerhouse N’Golo Kante and Jorginho which makes it difficult for Nicolo Barella to secure regular playing time should he move eventually.
