English Premier League side Chelsea have not ended their pursuit of West Ham United striker Marko Arnautovic as they are monitoring the situation with the player.
The West London side are keen on a new striker who will help increase the firing power of the Blues team with his goal-scoring ability as the likes of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are not looking too convincing at the moment.
The Austria international has therefore been identified by the Blues and he has been tipped to make good success at the Stamford Bridge owing to his big experience and his knowledge of the Premier League.
Marko Arnautovic has started this season with an impressive performance which is why he has been able to win the attention from league giants having scored a total of 7 goals and handed 2 assists within the 16 games under his belt.
However, the West London side have been told that Marko Arnautovic, whose contract with West Ham United ends in 2022 has got a release clause of about £40 million.
Chelsea will also face competition from the Premier League rivals Manchester United as the Red Devils are reported to be keen on his signature as well for the second half of the season.
