Liverpool, City make enquiry for Trabzonspor ace

The rivalry between English Premier League leaders Liverpool and defending champions Manchester City goes beyond the pitch and medals as they are both again at it for Turkish outfit Trabzonspor star Abdulkadir Omur.

Latest reports in Turkey claims that the both Premier League sides have made enquiries regarding the potential capture of the star player in this winter transfer window.

The fight for the league title enters into the second phase which promises to be more difficult than the first which is the reason why both sides have come all out to secure more additions to be able to withstand the pressure.

Turkish sports news outlet Futbol Arena claimed that the Premier League pair will go head-to-head for the signature of Abdulkadir Omur after getting the hint that he would be available.

AS Roma were also in the race but they are believed not to be the focus as Abdulkadir Omur is attracted to either of the two Premier League sides.

Abdulkadir Omur is said to have the asking price of £30 million which would not be a big deal for either of the clubs for the 19-year old wonder kid who is already making the news for his impressive performance in the Turkish top flight.
