Italian journalist David Amoyal has ruled out a possible January exit for highly-rated Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly who has been heavily linked with Premier League giants Manchester United.
Serie A expert Amoyal spoke about Koulibaly on CalcioLand podcast as monitored by redrants.
According to him, quality centre backs like Kalidou Koulibaly are becoming essential commodities and that there is buzz over three of those in the Italian Serie A.
He further revealed the aforementioned centre backs are Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli, Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan and Alessio Romagnoli.
Several European clubs are interested in the three defenders but David Amoyal believes that they will be staying at their respective clubs at the end of the January transfer window.
Earlier reports had claimed that Manchester United had two separate bids turned down for Senegalese international star Kalidou Koulibaly turned down having made him their top defensive target for this window.
Chelsea and Arsenal have also been mentioned as Premier League teams that could sign him.
The 27-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in world football.
Koulibaly has become one of the key men for Italian Serie A giants Napoli since he joined the club in 2014.
