Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement with Italian Serie A champions Juventus for him to join the Old Lady on a free transfer this summer.
This is according to the publication from Sportmediaset via the ESPN.
It was revealed that the Welsh international star has already reached a salary agreement worth €6.5m on a yearly basis to make him the club’s second highest earner behind Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
There’s a possibility that the former Cardiff City playmaker will join the Italians during this January transfer window but he’s on course to team up with the Old Lady at the end of his Gunners’ contract in the summer.
Juventus sporting director Fabricio Patirici had earlier confirmed the club’s interest in the Arsenal player in an interview conducted earlier in the week.
Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey has been attracting the interests of several European heavyweights since it became clear that the North Londoners are not willing to offer him a new contract that will extend his decade-long stay at the club.
The 28-year-old is the longest serving player at Arsenal having joined the club as a teenager from fellow Premier League side Cardiff City in a deal reported to be around £5m.
