This could be the surprise of the year as the winter transfer window is officially opened following the reports that former Liverpool star player Philippe Coutinho could have a return to the Anfield in coming days.

This would happen if the Reds listen to calls to save the Brazilian’s career and make him happy again knowing that he is no more the player he used to be back at the Merseyside with the La Liga outfit Barcelona.

The Barcelona star will be well remembered for his class display as a Liverpool player which was what caught the attention of the Spanish outfit that made them push for a deal to have him at all cost.

However, the Reds team have been fantastic since his departure as they were able to reach the Champions League finals as well as finishing second in the Premier League table last campaign.

Liverpool’s great form has failed to run dry as they began this season on a high note, going unbeaten so far in the English Premier League and most importantly, they are top in the league table.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have all taken up the responsibility of returning the Reds team back to glory days and this could just be the year for them.

However, there is a chance for Philippe Coutinho who sometimes sits on the bench at the Camp Nuo should Liverpool storm Spain with an offer.
