Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has all but confirmed that he would be leaving the Spanish La Liga giants in this January transfer window following the farewell message that he posted to the fans of the club on his official Instagram page as monitored by popular English media platform Metro.

The Costa Rican international shot stopper has been attracting interests from clubs on the European football scene.

Spanish media publication Sport had claimed that North London giants Arsenal and Italian Serie A side AS Roma want to sign the goalkeeper who was a key performer for Real Madrid as they won three successive Champions League titles under the guidance of French football legend Zinedine Zidane.

It was revealed that the Gunners have made a bid of around £14m for him.

Keylor Navas has lost his place in the Real Madrid starting XI since the arrival of Belgian shot stopper Thibaut Courtois in the summer dating back to the second Spanish La Liga game of the season.

He has featured for Real Madrid in two Spanish Copa Del Rey games since then.

Courtois had signed for Real Madrid from Chelsea in a player-plus-cash deal that saw Mateo Kovacic join the Blues on a season-long loan.
