North London giants Arsenal have been dealt a transfer blow in their pursuit of Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega who is the Gunners choice to replace wantaway Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey, 28, is on his way out of the club with six months remaining on his contract coupled with the fact that senior Arsenal officials have opted against offering him an extension.
Argentine international star Ever Banega has been lined up by the Gunners to replace the Welshman.
Banega could reunite with Arsenal manager Unai Emery whom he played for in the colors of the Spanish La Liga duo of Valencia and Sevilla.
However, there could be complications in his proposed move to reunite with the Gunners.
Italian media portal II Messaggero claim that Sevilla won’t release Ever Banega to Arsenal if they can’t sign a replacement for him.
