French football legend Zinedine Zidane is reportedly eyeing a big money move for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Marco Veratti if he gets the Manchester United job in the summer.

Zidane is one of the favourites to be given the Red Devils managerial job permanently following the sacking of Jose Mourinho who masterminded an underwhelming start to the new season.

Spanish media portal Don Balon claim that Zidane would try to sign Italian international playmaker Marco Verratti who would cost around £63m.

Zinedine Zidane enhanced his reputation as one of the finest managers in world football at the moment after he led Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid to three successive Champions League titles.

The former Real Madrid midfielder became the first manager to win and retain the Champions League trophy.

He went on to resign from his post as the Real Madrid manager at the end of last season.

Zinedine Zidane is in the frame for the Manchester United job alongside others like Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino, longest serving Premier League manager Eddie Howe of Bournemouth and current interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer has impressed since he was named manager winning three from as many games in the Premier League.
