Premier League giants Manchester United won’t sign anyone in the upcoming winter transfer window according to reports coming out of the British media.
The report from the Daily Express says that the Red Devils won’t sign any player next month despite the numerous transfer rumours linking the club with players in and around Europe.
It was revealed that senior Manchester United officials are hoping that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be able to get the best out of the present Manchester United squad between now and the rest of the season.
Former Red Devils striker Solskjaer has had a very good start to his managerial career at the club after winning three out of the three Manchester United fans that he has managed.
Solskjaer was named the interim manager of Manchester United as a replacement for the sacked Jose Mourinho who paid the price for an underwhelming start to the season with his job.
He has secured three straight wins from the last three games for the Red Devils with 12 goals scored and three goals conceded.
Earlier reports had claimed that Manchester United officials want to sign a new centre-back to address the glaring defensive problems in the team after conceding 32 goals in just 20 league games this season.
