Liverpool were earlier reported to be interested in Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur with the hope of landing him at the Anfield in the winter transfer market which reopens tomorrow, Tuesday.
However, latest reports hint the Merseyside club have opened talks with the Turkish top flight over Abdulkadir Omur and a deal could be sealed as soon as an agreement is reached for him.
Abdulkadir Omur is being wanted at the Merseyside club following speculations that Fabinho is unhappy and could head to French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain which means there would be a need for replacement.
This goes along with the words of manager Jurgen Klopp who maintained that he is happy with his squad at the moment and might not do any business in the coming winter transfer window but noted that there could be a need for a buy if an emergency arises.
It would be recalled that Turkish newspaper Fotomac, reported that Liverpool are considering a move for Omur and this could be the time for a deal to be sealed.
However, the 19-year-old has impressed so far this season to have caught the attention of big European sides like Liverpool which makes him valued at about £27 million.
