Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has been named flop of the year following his disappointing start to life at Old Trafford.
The Chilean international star joined Manchester United from Arsenal in the penultimate transfer window in January in a swap deal involving Armenian playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The 30-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at Manchester United since his transfer from the Gunners earlier this year.
When asked about his flop of the year while he was on the Football Writers Podcast via the Daily Express, football commentator David Preece didn’t think twice before mentioning Alexis Sanchez.
