English Premier League leaders Liverpool are reported to be closing in on German Bundesliga Bayer Leverkusen forward Kai Havertz according to reports by Bild.
It is, therefore, an argument if the star player who is valued at about £55 million by Transfermarket will be a good buy for the Reds owing to the number of options they have got in the role.
This is because of the suggestions that the Reds need not meet with the £70 million asking price by the German club as they have got Sadio mane and Mohamed Salah to fill that role.
However, Kai Havertz has got a number of interests coming from big sides in Europe including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Man City and Man United.
With his contract still running until 2022, Kai Havertz’s German side are currently sitting 11th place in the Bundesliga which makes him seek a move away from the club so as to see European football next season.
So far this season, Kai Havertz has been impressive by scoring three goals and an assist in the four games under his belt for the German Bundesliga outfit.
However, it is left for the Liverpool management to decide if they will have such an amount to pay in order to land the star winger.
