Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven are reportedly set to take a big risk by submitting a bid for Chelsea’s forgotten man Marco van Ginkel after due consideration by the club.

According to reports in the Netherlands, as quoted on SportWitness, Eredivisie outfit will be patient to play the long game and wait until the end of the campaign to try and sign the player who is unavailable at the moment.

Marco van Ginkel has been on the sideline all through this season with a knee injury which makes it a big risk for PSV as they cannot access his progress on the pitch at the moment.

The Eredivisie club are only judging the player based on his performance as a fit player which is some months ago.

Having had a good record of success back in the Dutch top flight, Van Ginkel was tipped to have a permanent switch back to PSV Eindhoven in the last summer but it failed to happen as a result of the injury he sustained.

There is, therefore, no doubt that the West London side will sanction the move for the star player knowing that he no longer have a future at Stamford Bridge and most importantly, the fear of him not returning to his best as a player.
