English Premier League leaders Liverpool are reported to be closing in on world class and highly rated winger Cengiz Under ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
Cengiz Under is reported to be on the verge of leaving his Italian Serie A side AS Roma having impressed to have attracted interest from a number of top European sides.
The likes of North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the player in the past but the Reds are believed to be in pole position to strike a deal for the star player.
Cengiz Under is obviously one of the hottest young lads in Europe which big clubs will be hunting for but he seems to be heading to the Merseyside club if reports in the media are anything to go by.
However, Liverpool could play the whopping sum of £53 million for Cengiz Under as the Italian side will not be willing to accept anything less from the English Premier League side.
Meanwhile, the Reds are currently sitting top in the Premier League table and will hope to have an addition that can help maintain the lead as well as finish on top to secure their first league title in a long time.
