Croatia international Mateo Kovacic is not interested in a return to Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid when his loan spell expires at Chelsea at the end of the season, according to reports.
Mateo Kovacic is currently having a loan spell at the West London side from Real Madrid and he seems to have settled well in the team which makes him seek a stay at the club.
Before his coming to the English side, Mateo Kovacic struggled to secure playing time at the Spanish giants but the situation improved when he had a loan move to Chelsea under manager Maurizio Sarri.
However, Mateo Kovacic will seek a stay at the club so as to secure more playing time at the club to continue his progress.
It was earlier reported that Chelsea were handed the deal to have the Croatia international on a permanent deal including cash for the signature of Belgium international Eden Hazard.
But it is established that manager Maurizio Sarri has fallen in love with Mateo Kovacic and is already making moves to have him stay at the Stamford Bridge beyond his loan spell.
Meanwhile, life has been good for Mateo Kovacic at the West London club having had 17 games under his belt in addition to two assists this season.
