French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey as they bid to sign him in the New Year.

Aaron Ramsey is on his way out of the Emirates Stadium following the Gunners’ refusal to hand him a new contract despite the fact that the Welshman has just six months left on his contract in North London.

Talks between Arsenal and Ramsey over a new contract for the 27-year-old hit a brick wall earlier this year with the club informing the Welsh midfielder that he won’t be offered a new deal.

Aaron Ramsey has already said that he would like to honour his contract until it will expire at the end of this season.

However, the report from thisisfutbol claimed that the Gunners are open to the idea of selling Ramsey when the January transfer window reopens next week and that a bid of around €10m to €20m will be enough for Arsenal to sanction a transfer.

PSG are interested in him and would definitely face competition from other interested parties like Italian giants Juventus, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

He could be a replacement for wantaway PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot who’s also on his way out of his club with six months remaining on his contract with the French capital club.
