Arsenal are tipped to be in pole position to secure the signature of Chelsea star defender Gary Cahill in the coming winter transfer window which reopens in coming days.
The contract of the 33-year-old at the Stamford Bridge ends in the summer which makes his move a confirmed deal as the Blues also want him to leave in coming days.
So far this season, Gary Cahill has seen just one Premier League game which is the biggest statement that he is not needed at the club any more.
It has therefore been hinted that Gary Cahill might end up as an Arsenal player having come close to joining the North London side in 2011 but failed to agree on fee.
The Gunners are currently dipped in defensive crisis and manager Unai Emery is keen to have a solution once the winter transfer reopens with Gary Cahill as the major target.
Gary Cahill is an experienced player who has the rich knowledge of the Premier League and that is expected to be beneficial to the Gunners team and the boss.
More so, Gary Cahill will not cost the Gunners much as they are expected to pay within the sum of £10 million to land the prolific defender.
