English Premier League outfit Chelsea have entered the race for Empoli midfielder Hamed Traore with the hope of securing his service when the winter transfer window reopens in coming weeks, according to a report by The Express.
The West London club are set to challenge Italian Serie A outfits Inter Milan and Juventus for the highly rated player who has impressed this season to have caught the attention from top European sides.
The report adds that the Ivory Coast international is valued for £15 million and could well increase in value owing to his rapid progress and development on the pitch.
Popularly known as ‘The Machine’, Hamed Traore’s rise started from last season when he severally came in from the bench to help his side secure a win to the Serie A from the Serie B and he has been an unchanged figure this season with the performance still in place.
The star player is tipped to come in to replace the likes of Willian, Eden Hazard, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley in the Maurizio Sarri team.
However, there are no doubts that he would be released by his Italian side when the right offer is tabled for him with Chelsea already having believed in his ability to deliver at the Stamford Bridge.
