Premier League giants Arsenal have offered a player-plus-cash deal for in-form Rennes forward Ismaila Sarr according to various reports coming out of France.
90min.com claim that the Gunners have offered €16m plus third choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez for the 20-year-old.
The Rennes star has been in sensational form for the French club since the start of the season.
He has found the back of the net eight times in addition to six assists in his 23 outings for Rennes this season.
Eight goal contributions have come in the last seven games for Rennes.
Arsenal are interested in signing Ismaila Sarr and they have included Argentine shot stopper Emiliano Martinez as a sweetener for the deal.
The Gunners have identified him as the replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck.
Arsenal have seen their forward options deplete in recent weeks following the injury to England international player Welbeck.
The North London giants have two senior strikers (Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette) in the first team without Welbeck.
Young striker Eddie Nketiah is the back-up option for the aforementioned duo.
Danny Welbeck sustained a season-ending injury last month during the Europa League home clash with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
He broke his ankle in the first half of that game.
EPL: Liverpool to storm Arsenal for promising youngster
One of the battles North London outfit Arsenal face is keeping one of the biggest prospects, Folarin Balogun at the club for more seasons and that has been difficult.
Folarin Balogun has already told the Gunners that he would not be signing a new deal and that makes him a subject of transfer this summer window so as not to lose him for free.
The 19-year-old striker, who scored 10 goals in 15 Premier League 2 appearances this season is keen on first-team football and not convinced he can get that any time soon under manager Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium, the reason why he wants to leave the club.

A number of clubs in England and abroad have been monitoring the situation with Folarin Balogun and are ready to move in, having watched him severally with his youth side.
However, current English Premier League champions, Liverpool is one of the clubs that have not hidden their interest in Folarin Balogun and are willing to pay for his service, according to Sky Sports.
Arsenal want a minimum of £8 million for Folarin Balogun which the Reds team are willing to pay this summer window.
A decision is yet to be reached by the Gunners and the player as they will both want to consider all the options available to take the right step.
EPL: Arsenal urged to move in for Kante
One player that is a surprise on the exit list of West London outfit, Chelsea is N’Golo Kante with reports claiming that he could be leaving the club at the end of the season.
N’Golo Kante joined the Blues team after helping Leicester City win the English Premier League to become a star and important player at the Stamford Bridge.
The story began to change for the French player when former manager Maurizio Sarri joined Chelsea and brought in Jorginho to take the role previously handled by N’Golo Kante.

It is yet, an unchanged story for the former Leicester City star as he has been battling for playing time under manager Frank Lampard. He is now tipped to leave the club this summer window.
However, Arsenal have been urged to move in for the World Cup winner as manager Mikel Arteta battles to add depth to his midfield. The Gunners are in the race for Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey but are yet to strike a deal.
There is no doubt that the Blues player will be a great addition to the North London outfit and his settling at the club will be easier than a player who has not been in London before. The only challenge might be in his weekly wage.
EPL: Arsenal handed major boost as Crystal Palace bid gets rejected
English Premier League club, Arsenal are also part of the suitors, interested in the signature of QPR star Eberechi Eze, alongside others.
QPR are expecting to part ways with the Nigerian international this summer window having learned a lot of interest in the player from English Premier League sides.
The latest report now reveals that Crystal Palace have gone ahead of the North London outfit with a £16m bid but it was rejected with the Hoops hoping to get a better deal for the player.

The Eagles are keen to strengthen their attack ahead of next season and see Eze as a perfect option after seeing him excel in the Championship this season.
However, the development remains a major hope for the Gunners who are also interested in the signature of Eberechi Eze and it gives the club more time to prepare a bid for the quality forward.
It is now unclear if the Gunners value Eberechi Eze more than £16 million and will be ready to invest such an amount for his signature because of the less need for attackers in the team.
With Arsenal hoping to keep Gabon international striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the club for more seasons, there is no way they will seek to invest in another striker.
EPL: Arsenal to reward impressive player with a new deal
Emiliano Martinez is one player that earned the trust of the Arsenal family with his impressive performance during the restart of the season.
He got the chance when first-choice goalkeeper, Bernd Leno got injured and has proved that he can do the job without any doubt.
It is now reported that the Gunners are ready to give Emiliano Martinez a new deal as a reward that will keep him at the club for more years and could probably get more playing time under manager Mikel Arteta.

The Sun is, therefore, reporting that Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be alone on the table for a new deal but would be joined by Emiliano Martinez.
What is unknown is if Emiliano Martinez will seek to remain at the club as a second goalkeeper if Bernd Leno returns or will consider a move away to start a new life elsewhere.
Following his impressive performance, Emiliano Martinez is already receiving bids from a number of clubs in England and abroad and that could tempt him for a move.
Things are good for me here, target sends a message to Arsenal, Chelsea
Both London clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea have indicated an interest in the signature of Matthias Ginter, from the German Bundesliga club, Borussia Monchengladbach.
The West London outfit was reported to be favourites ahead of the Gunners in the deal as they were ready to meet with the asking price but that the player is already rejecting any move away from Germany.
Matthias Ginter has, therefore, made his commitment to the Bundesliga outfit very public, insisting that eh would not be leaving the club any time soon.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is believed to have named the players that would be leaving the club this transfer window as he hopes to rebuild the team to get stronger in the coming season.
The defence is a major priority for the Spanish manager as well as the midfield department.
EPL: Arsene Wenger to return to the dugout
Emerging reports claim that former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now opened to a return to club management but that will only happen under optimal conditions.
Arsene Wenger put a pause to football management when he parted ways with the North London outfit in 2018 after 22 years spell at the club. He has since been away from that role and currently working as FIFA’s new Chief of Global Football Development.
It was expected that the former Gunners boss will immediately pick up a new offer as there were a number of clubs ready to hand him that opportunity but he was more focused on his holiday.

No doubt that Arsene Wenger will still get the love and support he got from Arsenal fans when he eventually picks up a new role as he has written his name in gold at the Emirates Stadium.
EPL: Arsenal told they would be chosen for a move
Following Arsenal’s victory in the FA Cup against Chelsea on Saturday, on loan Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos confessed his love for the team, stressing that he would choose the club again if he is to make any choice.
Dani Ceballos played a very vital role in the game with yet another commanding display that has continued to catch the attention of manager Mikel Arteta and that has confirmed the club to make more investment in him.
He has been on a loan deal and is expected to return to his owners, Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid but that is looking not to happen again as the North London outfit will seek to have him at the Emirates Stadium, with a permanent deal of possible.

Meanwhile, Gabon international forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace that helped the North London outfit to land their 14th FA Cup title in the club’s history.
The win also handed an automatic European ticket to the Gunners as they will not be playing in the Europa League next season.
Aubameyang’s future: The reason why Rio Ferdinand is wrong
Man United legend Rio Ferdinand has sparked speculations that Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already decided to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer transfer window.
The Gabon international was the hero of the day when the Gunners defeated their London rivals, Chelsea by 2-1 in the FA Cup final on Saturday. The former Borussia Dortmund player scored a brace to hand Arsenal their 14th FA Cup title in the club history.
During the post-match interview, the press was quick to ask the forward about his future before the trophy was officially handed over to the team and he was quick to talk down speculations about his future.

He stated that “I’m going to enjoy this with my teammates… and lift the trophy” and the Red Devils legend was quick to state that the Arsenal man has already decided to leave, noting that he spoke like someone who is leaving.
This analysis by Rio Ferdinand might not be all true as that wasn’t the right time for any player to talk about his future, especially when he has not even lifted the trophy to celebrate the hard work and a perfect end to a season.
There is no doubt that the Gunners management is to decide on a new contract term for Aubameyang as the player earlier mentioned that they have the final decision but there is no doubt about his being happy at Arsenal.
