West London club Chelsea have received a big blow in their pursuit of Real Madrid star Isco after it is reported that he prefers a move to Manchester City than the Stamford Bridge.

The star player is reported to be unhappy at Los Blancos and is already pushing for a move away from the club with several suitors already lined up for his signature.

The Blues were believed to be gunning for the Spanish La Liga side so as to make him a direct replacement for Belgium international Eden Hazard who will depart the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after refusing to sign a new deal with the club.

Isco is no doubt one of the best midfielders in the world with North London side Arsenal also reported to be in the race but there are hints that the star player will prefer a move to the Citizens as he wishes to work with manager Pep Guardiola.

The Blues seem to be gradually running dry of form as they have lost their third game of the season which leaves them in fourth position, same with the Gunners who are being separated by goals differences.

Sarri is believed to be keen on strikers knowing that his forwards are not firing at the moment.
