Former Arsenal winger Perry Groves believes that Mesut Ozil could leave the club in a swap deal when the transfer window reopens at the start of next month.
Groves spoke about Ozil and his possible exit while he was on popular English media platform TalkSport alongside show host Jim White.
He said that the recently retired German international player could be offloaded to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in exchange for wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Mesut Ozil is said to have fallen out of favour with new Arsenal manager Unai Emery after failing to buy into his methods at the club.
He has been able to play just 20 minutes of league football since the middle of last month.
The 2014 World Cup winner was surprisingly dropped for the Premier League away game at Bournemouth before he had a small niggle.
Without him, Arsenal won 2-1 thanks to goals from Jefferson Lerma (own goal) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
His long-term future at Arsenal was thrown into serious doubt earlier in the week after he was excluded from the team that lost 2-0 at home to North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.
When asked about Ozil during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash with Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, Unai Emery said that the German playmaker has a future at the club.
