English Premier League side Liverpool have been dealt a big blow after it was reported that Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has had an agreement with Barcelona over a move away from France next year.

Adrien Rabiot’s contract expires at the end of the season which makes it compulsory for the French side to let him go so as to cash in on him without losing him for free.

Efforts by the French Ligue 1 side to have Andrien Rabiot sign a new deal failed as he insisted on leaving the club for another club.

Liverpool were strong contenders for the signature of the French midfielder but they seem to have lost out following reports that he has had an agreement with the Spanish giants ahead of the winter transfer window which would be opened in coming weeks.

According to the report, Adrien Rabiot will move to the Spanish side for a cut-price fee as the Spanish giants are not willing to meet the asking price of the star player.

There is no doubt that the Reds will have to look elsewhere for another option as they seek to retain the top spot in the Premier League table and emerge winners eventually.
