English Premier League giants Liverpool are reported to be ready to revive their interest in Spanish defender Diego Llorente in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
The Reds have been linked with the Real Sociedad star defender for a while but no deal fell through but they could be willing to strike a deal as they hope to maintain the lead in the race for the English Premier League title.
Reports claim that the Merseyside club have already sent in scouts to Spanish to have an assessment of the player before the last international break and Liverpool are believed to be satisfied with the reports from the scouts.
However, Liverpool are not alone in the chase of Diego Llorente as Noth London trio West Ham United, Fulham and Tottenham are all seeking his signature.
The 25-year-old has got his contract running with the Spanish La Liga side until 2022 and he could be allowed to leave before them should his suitors be willing to pay his £44.2 million release clause.
Meanwhile, the Liverpool side have got a solid attacking force with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino but they seek more options and competition for them all.
