Liverpool have got one of the best defence in the English Premier League but they seem to not be satisfied as they are already in talks with Pepe who is regarded as one of the world best’s defenders.
The Besiktas central defender is well known for his feats when he was a player with Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid having helped the Los Blancos win the Champions League as well as the Spanish league.
The Reds are keen to have options in the defence with Joe Gomez and Matip already injured and the star player has been tipped to be the best fit for the role.
However, Liverpool are not alone in the chase of the Portugal international as other clubs are also keen on securing his service from the second stanza of the season.
So far this season, Pepe has had 16 games under his belt across all competitions and has been able to score 3 goals across all competition.
Meanwhile, suggestions are that he would be allowed to leave by the Turkish side as the club is overburdened financially and will be looking forward to releasing most of the highest paid players in the club during the winter transfer window.
