Liverpool in pole position to sign 20-year-old fullback

English Premier League side Liverpool have been tipped to secure the signature of Bristol City left fullback Lloyd Kelly ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

This is after it was reported that the Merseyside club are leading a number of suitors for the signature of the star player as they prepare for the exit of Alberto Moreno who is already being linked away from the Anfield because of the limited playing time he has got this season.

The England international has therefore been identified as a perfect replacement for the Reds team with Jurgen Klopp already a fan of the 20-year-old having watched him and heard about him.

Lloyd Kelly has shown enough potential to form a big part of the England national team in the future.

This season alone, he has had 18 games under his belt and has been able to find the back of the net once.

He has got a contract with the club until 2019 but there are chances that he would say goodbye before then with the serious interest from the Reds team.

However, the Merseyside team are encouraged in the bid for the player as they will not have to pay much to land him.
