Premier League giants Manchester United are planning several raids on Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.
Italian media outlet calciomercato claim that Manchester United scouts were at the Johann Cryuff Arena in Amsterdam to run the rule over six players from Ajax Amsterdam with the view to a move for any of those players when the transfer window reopens in two weeks time.
The six Ajax Amsterdam players are attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech, forward David Neres, midfielder Donny van de Beek right-back Noussair Mazraoui, centre back Matthijs De Ligt and midfielder Frankie De Jong.
All the above mentioned players have previously been linked with a move to Manchester United especially De Ligt and De Jong.
The two players are on the list of the top ten most sought-after players on the European football scene.
De Ligt and De Jong have been in impressive form for both club and country in the last one year thereby attracting the interest of clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Both players were heavily involved in the recent UEFA Nations League success achieved by the Netherlands.
The three-time World Cup finalists will face England in the semifinals of the competition next year.
