It has been speculated that Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are in the race to have the signature of Andreas Christensen from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

The 22-year-old is reported to be pushing a move away from the club having gone down the pecking order at the West London side under manager Maurizio Sarri.

Andreas Christensen has had just one Premier League appearance under his belt which was a direct opposite of the situation for him under former manager Antonio Conte.

The report, therefore, alerted a number of clubs who immediately indicated interests in having his signature with the Spanish side well mentioned.

However, the West London side are reported to be preparing a new and bumper offer for the star player so as to keep him off suitors and convince him to stay at the club.

Although, the Blues will have to do more in convincing the star player to stay knowing that he is unhappy sitting on the bench as it will hamper on his development as a young player.

Meanwhile, reports have it that Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde dismissed the claim of his side interested in the star defender as he claims he will make do of what he has in the team.
