Arsenal Plan Record Bid For Ramsey’s Replacement

Arsenal are plotting a club record bid for highly rated Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar ahead of the January transfer window.
According to France Football via teamtalk, Gunners boss Unai Emery is a big fan of the young French midfielder and has seen enough of him to splash a club record transfer fee on him.
It was revealed that Arsenal are ready to spend £63m (€70m) on the Lyon star next month ahead of a summer move to the Emirates Stadium.
Houssem Aouar has emerged as a key player for his French Ligue 1 side since the start of the season.
The 20-year-old has scored five goals and provided four assists for Lyon in all competitions this season.
Arsenal see him as a potential replacement for Gunners midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Welshman Ramsey has just six months remaining on his current Arsenal deal and he’s said to be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium after the club failed to extend his contract beyond next summer.
Arsenal have been linked with several replacements for the Welsh international star ahead of the upcoming transfer market.
Denis Suarez, Juan Manuel Mata and Piotr Zelinski are some of the midfielders previously linked with the Gunners.
