Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri seems to be running out of patience with Spanish striker Alvaro Morata and has been shopping for a replacement for him ahead of the winter transfer window.

The former Real Madrid man has been goal shy and ineffective in the team alongside French man Olivier Giroud which leave the team at the mercy of the midfielders to deliver goals to the club.

The former Napoli boss is, therefore, making efforts to ensure a change in the bad form at the attack for the second stanza of the season which makes him go all out seeking for a striker.

Insinuations are that a new striker will be brought into the Stamford Bridge to add quality to the team and most importantly give the strikers a good competition.

However, reports claim that the Italian boss is now monitoring French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani striker with the hope of luring him to the West London when the winter transfer window is opened.

However, Sarri would be constrained by the fact that Edinson Cavani is already 31 and would not be favoured in the already existing policy at Chelsea which will not give any lucrative contract to anyone who is above 30.
