English Premier League giants Liverpool are reportedly desperate to activate the buy-out clause of German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic so as to have his signature at the coming winter transfer market which reopens in coming weeks.
Luka Jovic who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from SL Benfica has been in top form for his side, netting 15 goals in 19 games this season, the highest so far in the German Bundesliga.
The Merseyside club are now in high spirit after topping the league at the weekend following the defeat of former leaders Man City against Chelsea and will be willing to do all it takes to maintain the league by adding more strength to the squad.
It is reported that the Reds are ready to make the payment of £40 million, which is Luka Jovic’s buy-out clause so as to beat off competition from other suitors who are already indicating interest.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Spanish La Liga side Barcelona are also reported to be attracted to the player and are willing to strike a deal in January when the window opens.
However, the Reds have been tipped to secure Luka Jovic’s signature with the club’s management ready to give manager Jurgen Klopp all the support.
